China’s steel inventory jumps 12% w-o-w post-Lunar holidays

China’s steel inventory, including steel sheets and construction steel, rose 12% to 14.66 mnt this week compared to 13.1 mnt a week ago, as per Lange Steel reports.

• Steel sheet stocks, comprising HRC, CRC and plates, moved up 11% to 5.38 mnt against 4.86 mnt a week ago.
• Construction steel stocks, including rebar and wire rods, jumped 13% to 9.28 mnt today compared to 8.24 mnt last week.
