China’s HRC prices up marginally by RMB 10/t ($1/t)

China’s HRC prices registered a marginal uptick of RMB 10/t ($1/t) while CRC prices remained unchanged d-o-d on 24 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,976/t ($579/t), up by RMB 46/t ($7/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,000/t ($582/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,415/t ($643/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
