China’s HRC, CRC prices decline by up to RMB 60/t ($9/t)

China’s domestic CRC prices declined by RMB 60/t ($9/t) and HRC prices by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d on 19 Aug’22. Prices are trending down for the fifth consecutive day. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,879/t ($569/t), down by RMB 40/t ($6/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,920/t ($575/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,345/t ($637/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
