China’s domestic HRC prices edge up by RMB 20/t ($3/t)

China’s HRC prices edged up by RMB 20/t ($3/t) while CRC prices remained flat d-o-d on 5 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,990/t ($591/t), largely stable on d-o-d basis. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,990/t ($591/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,505/t ($667/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
