China’s domestic CRC prices fall by RMB 60/t ($9/t)

China’s domestic CRC prices fell by RMB 60/t ($9/t) and HRC prices were down marginally by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d on 18 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,919/t ($578/t), registering a sharp fall of RMB 70/t ($10/t) on d-o-d basis. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,940/t ($581/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,405/t ($649/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
