China’s crude steel production continues to decline in mid-July – CISA

The average daily crude steel output by key Chinese mills in mid-Jul’22 stood at 1.99 mnt, an increase of 1.1% m-o-m but decreased by 6.21% y-o-y, as per China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) data. The average daily pig iron output by key steel enterprises in mid-July was 1.90 mnt, down 0.73% m-o-m and 0.39% y-o-y.
