China’s steel exports increased 8.47% in Jan-Oct’21 to 57.30 million tonnes (mn t). In the first 10 months of CY’21, China’s steel exports to South Korea reached 6.54 mn t, Vietnam 5.07 mn t, Thailand 3.21 mn t, Philippines 3.11 mn t, Indonesia 2.40 mn t and Brazil 2.29 mn t. It is to be noted that China exported 53.68 mn t steel in CY’20, down 13% y-o-y.
