China’s coal output grows nearly 5%, y-o-y, to 370 mn t in Nov – NBS data

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows that China’s raw coal production stood at 370 mn t in Nov’21, an increase of 4.6%, y-o-y, and 0.6% compared to Oct. China’s coal output registered an average growth of 3% over the past two years, with average daily output at 12.36 mn t. The country imported 35.05 mn t of coal in Nov’21, a y-o-y increase of 198.1%.
