China’s total coal output in H1CY’24 was recorded at 2.27 bnt, down 1.7% y-o-y, due to increased safety inspections. Output was recorded at 405.38 mnt in Jun, an increase of about 4% y-o-y, according to latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The daily raw coal production was at around 13.51 mnt in June, up about 9% from 12.38 mnt in May.
