Tsingshan Group, one of the largest producers of Stainless steel, has increased the purchase price of HC ferrochrome in Jan ’21 by 200 yuan/t to 5,997 yuan/t ($918.93/t) for HC 50% min, delivered including tax. The delivery deadline is Feb 20, 2021. The rising in purchase price can be attributed to tight supply in China amidst restricted production and higher production costs.
