China: Tangshan mills cut output following air pollution measures

Steel mills in Tangshan have cut their production capacity following the pollution control measures imposed by the local government in North China, credible sources of SteelMint reported. Today, 104 blast furnaces out of 165 in the city, have shut down their operations. The operating rate now stands at 51.2%, down 9.3% compared to last week.
