China: Steel inventory at CISA mills declines in late Feb’22

The steel inventory of key iron and steel enterprises in China was 16.10 mnt in late Feb’22, a decrease of 802,800 t or 4.75% from the previous month, data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) show. Inventory increased 2.41 mnt, or 17.67%, from the end of Jan. However, inventory decreased 310,100 t compared with the same period last year, down 1.89%.
