China’s steel export volumes stood at 5.05 mn t in Aug’21, down nearly 11% on month compared to 5.67 mn t a month ago, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs, China. Increased domestic consumption and limited buying in key countries due to COVID-19-related restrictions led to the fall in export bookings, SteelMint notes.
