China: Steel billets prices, rebars futures remain stable d-o-d

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 3,760/t ($540/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 29 Dec’22.
A hike in finished steel prices has supported billets prices, SteelMint noted.
China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,048/t ($581/t), largely stable d-o-d.
