China: Steel billets prices fall to over two-month low

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 80/t ($12/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,840/t ($562/t), hitting over a 2-month low level. Prices include 13% VAT.
Falling rebars futures and finished steel prices have pulled down billets prices.
SHFE rebars futures for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,070/t ($596/t), down RMB 83/t ($12/t) d-o-d.
