China: Steel billets prices fall RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,730/t ($542/t), inclusive of 13% VAT, on 4 Jan’23.
A drop in futures has pulled down billets prices, SteelMint notes.
China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,027/t ($585/t), a decrease of RMB 36/t ($5/t), d-o-d.
