Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan decreased by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 7 April 2022. Prices stood at RMB 4,860/t ($764/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for October 2022 delivery closed today at RMB 5,070/t ($797/t), witnessing a significant fall of RMB 51/t ($8/t), d-o-d.
