Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 27 Apr’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,740/t ($723/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct delivery closed today at RMB 4,864/t ($742/t), witnessing a rise of RMB 35/t ($5/t), d-o-d.
