Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,450/t ($667/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 30 May’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,621/t ($693/t), witnessing a rise of RMB 45/t ($7/t) as against the closing on 27 May.
