China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

  • Billet prices in Tangshan edged up d-o-d by RMB 10/t ($1/t) to RMB 3,290/t ($452/t) on 9 Jul’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
  • Improvement in rebar futures have supported the billet prices.
  • SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) increased d-o-d by RMB 12/t ($2/t) to RMB 3,515/t ($483/t) on 9 Jul’24.
