  • Billet prices in Tangshan inched down by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,930/t ($410/t) on 22 Aug’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
  • Low demand and fall in rebar futures have weighed on billet prices.
  • SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) decreased by RMB 61/t ($8/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,174/t ($445/t) on 22 Aug’24.
