China: Steel billet prices fall by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

  • Billet prices in Tangshan fell d-o-d by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,210/t ($451/t) on 15 Oct’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
  • Lower trades and drop in rebar futures have weighed on billet prices.
  • SHFE rebar futures (Jan’25 delivery) decreased d-o-d by RMB 35/t ($5/t) to RMB 3,467/t ($487/t) on 15 Oct’24.
