China: Steel billet prices edge up by RMB 20/t ($2/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan inched up d-o-d by RMB 3,110/t ($427/t) on 20 Feb’25. Prices include 13% VAT.
Rise in finished steel prices and rebar futures, coupled with improved trading activity, has supported billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (May’25 delivery) increased by RMB 43/t ($6/t) to RMB 3,358/t ($461/t) on 20 Feb’25.
