Iron ore (Fe 62%) fines spot prices decreased by $1.7/t d-o-d to $125.5/t CFR China on 6 Feb’24 as the market witnessed fewer buyers with the rapidly approaching Lunar holidays in China. Demand from the mills was barely seen because most of them had taken the holidays off or begun their vacation maintenance on their blast furnaces.
