China: Iron ore spot prices recover on improved buying interest

The spot price of iron ore recovered as seaborne liquidity improved on Tuesday 26 Apr’22. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $3.20/t to $138.95/t CFR China. Despite COVID-19 concerns and a bearish demand outlook, seaborne buying interest was healthy, especially for discounted medium-grade fines.
