Iron ore (Fe 62%) fines spot prices edged down by $0.8/t d-o-d to $129/t CFR China on 9 Feb’24. Prices fell as the Chinese market remained closed on account of the CNY holidays which started yesterday. Trading activity remained muted as most of the market participants were away. However, some reports claimed that the physical market remained firm despite the holidays.
