The spot price of iron ore in China rose on 9 Sep’22 amid falling port stocks. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $3.85/t to $103.65/t CFR China. As China approaches the mid-autumn festive holidays, some steel mills tend to pick up more stock from ports to plants for production usage. However, the typhoon weather in East China has slowed the discharge of some iron ore vessels.
