China: HBIS’s ferro silicon tender prices inch up in Sept’22

Major Chinese steelmaker HBIS Group concluded its ferro silicon (72%) tender at RMB 8,200/t ($1,176/t), up RMB 200/t ($29/t) m-o-m from the Aug’22 price. As per SteelMint assessment, the spot price of ferro silicon (75%) stood at RMB 8,100/t ($1,162/t) exw-Inner Mongolia and RMB 8,550/t ($1,226/t) exw-Shanxi on 15 Sep’22.
