China: CISA mills’ crude steel output rises, m-o-m, in late-March

The average daily crude steel production by key Chinese mills was 2.16 mnt in the last 10 days of March, according to CISA data. The daily steel output increased by 5.1% m-o-m to 2.11 mnt in the second half of March. Meanwhile, the average daily pig iron output in late-March stood at 1.85 mnt, higher by 3.5% m-o-m but down 2.8% y-o-y.
