China: Billet prices remains firm

Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, held stable at RMB 2,970/t ($407/t) including 13% VAT on 14 Apr’25 against 11 Apr’25.
Sluggish trading activity, stability in raw material prices and falling rebar futures have weighed on billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) drop by RMB 5/t ($1/t) to RMB 3,126/t ($429/t) on 14 Apr’25.
