The world’s top steel manufacturer Boasteel has rolled over its monthly carbon flat steel prices for May’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Limited demand from downstream industries amidst the recent spurt in COVID-19 cases and the subsequent lockdown have forced steel majors to roll over prices. Earlier in March, Boasteel had increased prices by RMB 200-300/t ($31-47/t) m-o-m for April bookings.
