China’s Baosteel has cancelled its long-term contract and spot purchase for Aug’22 delivery due to poor stainless steel market conditions. The decision will have a significant impact on ferro chrome and chrome ore prices, sources informed. Notably, Tsingshan has also reduced ferro chrome tender prices for August delivery.
