- The Raglan mine in Canada, part of Glencore’s North American nickel division, also Integrated Nickel Operations (INO), has been reportedly shut down following the first strike in 25 years, SteelDaily reports.
- The workers at the mine have started a strike protesting against deteriorating working conditions.
- INO, including the Raglan mine, produced 55,000 t of nickel last year, or 53.8% of Glencore’s total nickel production.
