Brazil: Pig iron exports up 10% m-o-m in September

Brazil’s pig iron exports rose by 10.32% m-o-m to 397,171 t in Sep’22 from 360,008 t in Aug, as per customs data.
The US was the major importer at 322,059 t.
Export volumes increased by 32% y-o-y to 2.85 mnt in Jan-Sep this year as against 2.16 mnt in the same period last year.
