Brazil: Manganese ore exports plunge m-o-m in July

Brazil’s manganese ore exports registered a whopping 83% decrease m-o-m to 0.02 mnt in Jul’22 against 0.12 mnt in Jun’22. The decrease in exports was due to muted demand for manganese alloys globally.
Major importer in the month was China at 0.01 mnt followed by Vietnam and India.
Total imports in Jan-Jul’22 decreased by 47% y-o-y to 0.60 mnt.
