Brazil: Iron ore exports inch down by 3% y-o-y in Jun’24

Brazil’s iron ore exports dropped by 3% y-o-y to 33.21 mnt in Jun’24 compared to 34.22 mnt in Jun’23, as per Customs data.
However, volumes increased marginally by 1% m-o-m as against 32.83 mnt in May.
The average price of iron ore shipped from Brazil stood at $77.9/t FOB in June, up y-o-y compared to $71.6/t in the same month last year.
