Brazil: Ferro silicon exports drop by 4%, m-o-m, in Mar’22

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports dropped by 4% m-o-m to 11,576 t in Mar’22, as per customs data. The leading importers of Brazilian ferro silicon were Japan (5,171 t), USA (1,511 t) and The Netherlands (1,417 t). Supply disruption amid global geopolitical tensions and the hike in stainless steel prices impacted Brazil’s ferro silicon exports in March.
