Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) an Indian state-controlled Maharatna company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra has floated a tender for short listing of vendors for purchase of steel plates for 1 year.
Vendor selection will be based on bid qualification criteria and techno-commercial bid for purchase of approx 8,460 MT BQ Steel Plates conforming to CS A537CL1 for various BPCL LPG Plants over a period of one year.
The short listing of the Vendors and the techno-commercial terms shall be finalized for 1 year from Feb 2018 on-wards and price bids shall taken against firm requirement for every three months period or as required.
Domestic plate prices in India remain under pressure amid limited buying and trade activities. Currently prices at INR 37,000/MT (ex-Mumbai) and INR 39,000/MT (ex-Delhi)
