Australian Premium HCC offers have slipped by USD 7-8/MT in last 15 days and HCC offers by USD 3-4/MT.
The biggest Met coal shipper, Australia is struggling due to timorous trading from Chinese steelmakers.
Replete stock supply from Australian miners and restricted buying from Chinese buyers have made Australian met coal futures to fall drastically in global market within past two weeks.
Indian buyers are enjoying price fall; sluggish demand from China has endowed them with power of bargaining.
Currently, Premium HCC offers from Australia are assessed at USD 81-82/MT, which were around USD 88-89/MT, CFR India in the starting of the month. Meanwhile, Australian HCC futures fell by USD3-4/MT to USD 80-81/MT, CFR India.
