Billet prices rise to Rs 30,800/MT and Rs 30,400/MT (Basic) in the evening trade at Raipur and Raigarh (Chhattisgarh).
Prices were earlier standing at Rs 30,600/MT and Rs 30,100/MT (Basic) respectively.
The increase in offers took place as buyers are ready to make purchases at current prices.
Billet was last sold at Rs 30,800/MT (Landed Raipur) by a seller in Raigarh.
“Billet market looks good as buyers are interested to take position and manufacturers in Raipur are anticipated to raise prices to Rs 30,900/MT tomorrow”, said traders.
