Indian billet demand continues to remain weak on slow construction activities.Though billet prices move up at some places in Maharastra on account of higher electricity cost.Also some furnaces based in Jalna have to stop operations on low availability of water and pollution norms report local traders.
Billet prices remain same in other parts of India.Some manufacturers in Raipur tried to quote higher but failed to get much response.
