Index has slightly gone down to reach 90.95 points. Scrap suppliers have made
no major changes in their prices.
Bhavnagar ship
breaking HMS scrap prices open at a lower side on Monday. Prices went down by Rs
200/MT in the early trade at Rs 24,300/MT (Basic Price, ED & Taxes extra).
Rolling plate cutting
scrap suppliers have also reduced their offers by up to Rs 300/MT on thin
buying interest. Scrap of 4 ANI plate traded at Rs 25,100/MT, 6 ANI at Rs 25,900-26,000/MT
and 12 ANI at Rs 27,200/MT.
“Prices are fluctuating in
the range of Rs 100-300/MT these days for ship breaking scrap. It is expected to hold the same pattern in the coming days as well”, said a trader based in Alang.
