Bangladesh: Non-coking coal imports surge by 33% m-o-m in Oct’25

Bangladesh’s non-coking coal imports stood at 2.42 mnt in Oct’25, registering a significant 33.3% growth from 1.82 mnt in Sep. On a y-o-y basis, imports increased by 61.6% from 1.5 mnt in Oct’24. Indonesia remained the dominant supplier in Oct’25, exporting 2.31 mnt, up 46.9% m-o-m, followed by South Africa, which supplied 0.06 mnt.
