Bangladesh: Bulk scrap import offers rise further

Bulk ferrous scrap import prices into Bangladesh have increased further after the Kanto tender result.
Offers for US-origin bulk HMS are at $580-585/t CFR Chittagong, an increase of $10-15/t w-o-w, while offers for bulk H2 scrap are at $580/t CFR.
Bangladesh’s bulk scrap imports stood at 230,000 t in Jan’22 as against 200,000 t in Dec.
