Baltic Dry Index hits 1-month high on improved market sentiment

The Baltic Dry Index hit nearly a one-month high, rising 1.8% (36 points) d-o-d to 2,066 on 02 Apr’26, supported by a gradual recovery in bulk commodity movements and improved freight sentiment.

• Capesize: BCI increased 2.1% (63 points) to 3,086.
• Panamax: BPI was up 1.5% (26 points) to 1,784.
• Supramax: BSI gained 1.2% (15 points) to 1,224.
