The Baltic Dry Index rose for the third consecutive day, by 0.8% (17 points) d-o-d to 2,031 on 27 Mar’26, driven by stronger Capesize fixtures on key iron ore routes and a tighter tonnage list.
- Capesize: BCI increased 2% (58 points) to 3,032.
- Panamax: BPI dipped 0.8% (14 points) to 1,756.
- Supramax: BSI was up 0.1% (1 point) to 1,206.
