The Baltic Dry Index decreased by 0.3% (7 points) d-o-d to 2,670 on 29 Apr’26, as weakness in the Capesize and Supramax segments outweighed gains in Panamax amid subdued coal activity and balanced vessel supply.
- Capesize: BCI declined 0.5% (21 points) to 4,283.
- Panamax: BPI rose 0.7% (13 points) to 1,979.
- Supramax: BSI down 0.5% (8 points) to 1,534.
