After falling for the last two weeks, Australian coking coal prices rose marginally yesterday as a few deals were heard to be in the final stage of conclusion. The price for premium hard Australian coking coal is assessed at $423/t FOB. There is still a chance of downtrend in prices in the coming days as global steel prices are under pressure amid subdued demand.
