Australian premium hard coking coal prices rose by $7/t d-o-d to $302/t FOB as on 4 Jan’23. The rise has come as China is considering to lift its unofficial ban on coal imports from Australia after two years. According to sources, few Chinese state-owned power plants have received an intimation from the government to import Australian coal.
