Australian coking coal prices hold firm as market awaits European buy tender result

Australian premium low-volatile (PLV) hard coking coal (HCC) price remained unchanged at $214.50/t FoB, on 27 Jul’21, as both buyers and sellers are waiting for the results of a buy tender issued by a major European steelmaker on 22 Jul’21. The tender is for Australian Peak Downs North premium mid-volatile HCC with end-Aug’21 laycan.
